Updos are one of the most popular styles for weddings and can involve a variety of styles that include the hair being worn in a style that is off the face and involve basic styling which brings the hair
To ensure that the hairstyle remains in the hair for an extended period of time it is important to use products that prepare the hair for the updo. This can include molding and texturizing paste within the hair that can help to reduce the hair coming out of the style.
It is important to avoid washing the hair on the day that the style is being created to allow the natural oils to help create the style. Especially when the hair is being woven into an updo or the hairstyle that is being created uses small waves within the hairstyle these natural oils within the hair are an important part of creating the hairstyle.
Wedding updos for summer make use of the styles that can be created by pulling the hair back from the front of the head and creating a style that makes use of this pulled back hair. As there are many variations that can be created from the hairstyle – curls, straight hair and short hair can be used to create versatile hairstyles for summer.

Hollie,
When you use hair extensions, it is important to place the hair extensions through the bottom of the style. In fact, I like to choose the layer half way between the top, and half way between the bottom, not through the bottom as many people recommend.
To attach the tiny clip that comes with these extensions, I tease the root a little using back combing methods. This way, the clip will stick in the hair. I also use a little hairspray to ensure that the hair extension isn’t going anywhere!
Hope this helps (:
