Updating Ponytail Hairstyles

The ponytail is a classic style that women can take advantage of while in a rush or trying to create a style that is off of the face. Unfortunately, the ponytail is one of the least glamorous hairstyles – or is it!? As a matter of fact, there are many things that a woman can do to increase the style in her ponytail which can increase the glamour level of the pony tail! Here are some things that you can do to increase the glam factor of the ponytail:
As an alternative to the regular ponytail, consider sectioning the hair into a top and bottom section and creating a half ponytail. This can increase the glam factor and can even add dazzle to the hairstyle when the bottom section is sleekly straightened, or curled.
Another way to glam the ponytail is to increase the height. A high ponytail that takes a strand of hair from the ponytail which can be used to wrap around the style and secured with a pin to disguise the elastic holding the ponytail up is a great way to glam it up.
Although it may only take seconds to put your hair in a ponytail, there is no reason that a few more moments cannot be taken to increase the glam factor of the ponytail and increase the appearance from sloppy to superb, in a matter of moments.
