Waxing is one of the most effective types of hair removal. It can be used for hair removal on many parts of the body, including the face, arms, and legs and even through the bikini line.
How does waxing work? Waxing is applied topically to the skin, after the wax has been heated. The wax is applied to the skin with the use of a wooden tool and than a piece of cloth is used to attach to the wax. In between the wax and the cotton, the wax has been given the chance to adhere to the hair which is growing from the skin. There are indeed some waxing strips and techniques which can be used cold, but these are often not as effective as hot wax which is used for hair removal. Most of the cold wax hair removal techniques are used in pre-waxed strips that are used to remove hair at-home and can be purchased in kits which are available at drug stores and beauty supply stores.
