Reduce Thick Facial Hair For Men picturesThere are a few different ways to reduce thick facial hair for men. The obvious solution is to shave it off, but being as how most men with facial hair would like to avoid that, here are a few tips on how to accomplish it without going to extremes.

A simple trim with scissors can take some of the thickness away. This is done by pointing the scissors in an upwards angle and snipping off of the thickness rather than the length. It does cut the length of some of the hairs, but not enough that it looks like a difference off of the total length. Barbers have a hair dressing tool that can be combed through the beard to sort of shave off some of the hair from each strand, without actually cutting any of them. This makes each individual hair thinner, so the entire beard becomes thinner as well.

If the client has a short beard and is just wanted to make it thinner so it looks neater, the best thing to do would be to take some clippers and buzz a little of it off. This can be done with scissors as well so that the hair doesn’t appear so thick. If the client decides to be brave, they can always try plucking some of the hairs out to give it a thinner appearance. They should be careful with this as they will not want to have any bald patches. If all else fails, one can research thinning methods online.
