Curly hair can be difficult to style, through the small curls which are created in the hair, whether the curls have been created naturally or the curls have been created through the use of a perm, there are certain styles which can be easy to create through the use of a stylist and even easy to create at-home through the use of curling irons and other styling products which can be used to create waves and curls within the hairstyle.
Curls are one of the most popular looks for the prom season. When curls are styled into the hair, there is an instant sense of class which can be created and texture that can be used as the basis of many other styles. This is the reason that many hairstyles use curls as the base for the back of the hairstyle, as well as using curls throughout the top of the hairstyle and even as the focal point. Short hair can be styled in a variety of sizes and types of curls and is therefore also a popular style that can be curled to create a variety of looks and appearances through the Updos and other prom hairstyles.
Short hairstyles can often be springy while they are styled with curls. Although this may be an interesting look, this is very dated and is best avoided for prom hairstyles that include curly hair. Through the use of these hairstyles, it is best that individuals stick with hairstyles that are created from waves, rather than curls and therefore the hairstyle can have bounce, made with products other than gels, which can freeze the curls and create an effect that is not often desired when it comes to styling hairstyles which are made for curly hair.

If only!
One for the cut and colour i think and then one for the actual style? Not sure if i should go yet but pleas help ?
Im to nervous too ask for my hair to be layered short and then curled. Will it be too complicated for the stylist?
At the moment i have meduim longreddish brown (That has been dyed but roots are coming back >:( ) hair near my breasts and if i ask for the hair style of short layered hair then im not sure what colour too have with it. Highlights or just colour. I’ll have two appointments
