When one has medium hair, it becomes a little more difficult to do up dos in it as it never seems long enough for what is done. Medium hair up dos all depend on the shape of the client. If the client has a small, thin face, with thinned out hair, than the hair generally fits into most styles. If the client is a little chubbier with thick hair, it’s unlikely it will work without loads of bobby pins.
There are a lot of cute accessories that work well with medium length hair, that help the hair stay in place and look great doing so. One style that looks great is a French twist. This is achieved by twisting the hair towards one side and clipping in place. The client may wish to add hairspray to hold it in place longer. If bobby pins are needed, pick them dependant on the hair color. If it is dark, go with the darker colored pins.
Another cute medium hair up do style is to curl some of the hair on top and pull it across the head in loose twists. If the client has layered hair, have this wisped out in the back or straight down depending on what they want. If the client doesn’t have layered hair, then straighten it down. They may also wish to curl the rest in a couple of loose curls as well. Either way it is done, the client will look absolutely stunning. Add hairspray if the client wants it.
