There are a lot of different hairstyles out there these days. With the new generation of people, they have been doing ridiculously different things with their hair. Anything from short hair in back and long in front, to as many different colors on one head of hair, something frequently seen is a faux hawk. Faux hawks generally appear to be done with straight hair, but where does that leave the population who have curly hair? Here is how to create a faux hawk with curly hair.
Whether the hair is curly or straight, it all looks the same when it is buzzed to only half an inch long. The strip of hair in the middle is where it should begin. One can try some different products to make it stand up straight, but that takes a lot of effort for something that might not work. The best thing to do is to use a flat iron to straighten the hair, and use a lot of hairspray to hold it in place. A flat iron isn’t often found in a guy’s apartment; however it isn’t too hard to get one’s hands on a real iron. This can be used as well.
Although it can be difficult to straighten short hair, especially for a guy, something as simple as blow drying the hair with a flat brush, or comb, depending on the length of the hair can help to relax some of the curls which are found in the hair, as the heat can help to straighten the hair. This can reduce the need for a straightening iron and allow you to create the popular hairstyle, regardless of the texture of your hair.
