When styling short hair, texture can play an important role in the style that is created through the personal goals of the individual. Luckily, when it comes to styling their hair, the majority of African American women have a good amount of texture in their hair, whether the texture has been created through the use of natural curls or waves, or has been created through the type of haircut that has been created in the hair.
People with short haircuts can use this texture to their advantage, as they are able to create styles that have depth, rather than short hairstyles which seem to stick to the head that can be created with the use of short hair. As an added bonus, the person that is styling the hair will often be required to use fewer hair products, as most hair products are used to add texture and depth to the hair.
Short curly hairstyles can be created through a variety of short styles. Whether the hair is worn close to the head, or the hair is worn longer, through the jaw line and past the ear, this texture can translate into a popular style that is at the same time, classic and modern.
